🚌 Student Startup: MCEE
MCEE is an app that brings people together through the power of music by allowing everyone to contribute to the songs played at any given event. Users can request their own songs to the common queue, after which their position is determined by way of an upvote/downvote feature in which all attendees participate. The most liked songs by the majority of people will be played first. MCEE has recently just launched its beta and was a part of the SSC Venture Partners Accelerator this past year.

🎓 Alumni Startup: Frenalytics
Frenalytics is a personalized learning software for cognitively impaired patients and students that allows them to live more independently. The company has two branches, FrenalyticsMED and FrenalyticsEDU to serve different audiences for families, schools, and healthcare organizations. Frenalytics has recently partnered with various institutions with their software such as Molloy University and was accepted into the accelerator programs through MassChallenge and Forum Ventures.

🚌 Student: Kayla Talcoff
Kayla is a junior studying Finance and Information Systems with a minor in International Studies at Boston College. This past summer, she was an investment banking analyst at Citi and looks to leverage those skills into her upcoming role this summer as a Growth Equity Analyst at Volition Capital. Outside of the classroom, Kayla also interns on the Growth team at startup Thingtesting and is involved on-campus in the Women Innovators Network, Club Swim, Investment Club, and the Venture Capital / Private Equity Club.

🎓 Alum: Caroline Casson
Caroline is a partner at VITALIZE Venture Capital, a seed-stage firm where she invests and supports the work revolution. At VITALIZE she sources potential investments, manages the firm’s due diligence, and supports portfolio companies and their founders. Previously, Caroline was at GE Ventures, as well as IrishAngels gaining valuable experience in the world of startups and VC. Caroline holds degrees in Applied Psychology and Mathematics from Boston College and a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Notre Dame.
