Sencha Credit is changing the culture of revolving credit card debt through the Sencha debit card that builds credit. It works just like a secured credit card: users borrow against funds they deposited, and Sencha handles the payment process on the backend. Cariina is a software platform that enables operations management in schools. By addressing operational inefficiencies, Cariina helps administrators better allocate resources and ultimately impact educational outcomes. 🚌 Student: Talia Kaplanian
Talia is studying Computer Science and is currently the President of BCCSS (Boston College Computer Science Society) and Director of Hack the Heights (BC’s hackathon). She’s also a TA for the Physical Computing course at BC. Talia is spending this summer as a Software Engineering Intern at Converse and has previously worked as a Quality Engineering Intern at Red Hat, a Software Development Intern at EBSCO, and an Airdrop Algorithm Intern at Draper.

🎓 Alum: Kyle McCormick
Kyle is the Chief of Staff at Republic, a company democratizing investing by hosting investment crowdfunding campaigns for startups, real estate, crypto projects, and games. He was previously a Principal on the Investment Team at Republic, where he led deal due diligence. Before Republic, Kyle was a Fellow at Venture for America, where he worked as an Associate at Endeavor Miami (an organization leading the high-impact entrepreneurship movement in South Florida). Kyle holds a BS in Finance from BC.
