Featured Startups
🚌 Student Startup: OM
Om is building a learning management platform for yoga and meditation studios to help them engage their students outside of the classroom. We give studios the tools and the tech to provide their students with at home exercises and lessons in a Duolingo style format increasing retention and improving outcomes!

🚌 Student Startup: Jo by Juliana
JO by Juliana transforms flat designs into innovative, fashion-forward handbags that blend architecture, art, and engineering. Each bag has a folding mechanism allowing the bags to fold from a flat sheet into a self-sustaining bag. Crafted for the minimalist, design-conscious consumer, these bags redefine luxury through intentional design and craftsmanship.
The founder, Juliana Owen, developed these designs using her ceramic roots. At BC, Juliana’s studies in Architecture developed her technical skills in shaping her understanding of form and structure. By deconstructing objects into their flat states, she explores the meticulous planning behind their creation, offering consumers the opportunity to connect and appreciate the designs that they carry.
Bags will be on the market soon! Sign up for the email list on the JO website to be the first to know when they drop.

🚌 Student Startup: Decodables
With Dyslexia, it is unfortunately easy to underestimate the value of reading for fun. But if a young student only associates reading with a battle to comprehend challenging words, they will never look forward to picking up a book.
90% of the battle with Dyslexia is reading texts that only contain words the student can already read. These are called “decodable” texts, and they allow students to develop a genuine enjoyment of reading while also reinforcing the phonetic patterns they have learned.
We use AI to create decodable texts precisely tailored to the individual needs of young students struggling with dyslexia. Given our passion for individuality, we also provide students with the freedom to craft a story that aligns with their interests, or even turn something like Harry Potter into a decodable story.
Reading scores are declining, education funds are depleting, and millions of students across the country do not have access to stories they genuinely enjoy reading. In a landscape that crucially needs it, Decodables allows all students to read for reading’s sake.
