🚌 Student Startup: OceanFront Technologies
In an effort to combat the growing issue presented by the trash left on beaches, OceanFront Technologies is looking to design and manufacture an autonomous beach cleaning robot. Beach pollution degrades and destroys the unique habitats needed by animals and plants, contributes to a public health risk, reduces property values, and inhibits the economic growth of the surrounding community. OceanFront’s robot will have the ability to drive across the beach using sensors and AI navigation systems to avoid major obstacles and clean the beaches efficiently. Use their robot to reduce trash on beaches and join the fight for climate change!

🚌 Student Startup: NutriDine
America is dealing with a health crisis, with more than two-thirds of U.S. adults being overweight or having obesity. There is a reason why how to get in shape is one of the most searched things on the internet. In the past year, we've seen the trend of the hyper-personalization of health with companies like Whoop, Oura, and Garmin providing tailored metrics. However, no company has tackled this health crisis from the inside out. Healthy eating represents the foundation of living yet remains one of the most confusing and polarizing topics. What to eat, how to track progress, and aligning with tastes have proven to be a challenge for nearly everyone.Â
This issue inspired co-founders Collin Tsui and Thomas Bardhi as they built NutriDine. Both have dealt with the issue and are knowledgeable and passionate about the platform's physiology, technology, and long-term vision.Â
NutriDine simplifies and enhances your health journey with automated and personalized grocery lists and recipes. Whether your goal is to shed pounds, build muscle, or improve your overall nutrition, NutriDine takes the stress and guesswork out of healthy living. Picture this: you're aiming to trim a few pounds before summer. With just a few inputs of your metrics, lifestyle factors, and eating preferences, NutriDine crafts a tailored plan that guarantees you'll achieve your goals.Â

🎓 Alumni Startup: Ecotone Renewables
Ecotone Renewables sustainably converts food waste into a powerful liquid fertilizer called Soil Sauce and utilizes biogas for renewable energy. Ecotone is currently raising a $3M priced Seed Round of new funding closing in May, with Earth Foundry leading the round with a $1.25M investment. Our patent-pending ZEUS digester is an on-site solution that is 10X faster than composting while being automated, clean and does not require permits. We are already generating revenue by targeting 10,000 businesses with waste reduction goals and the larger $16 billion opportunity of 10 US states with food waste bans to landfills. We envision a world without waste and provide intelligent hardware solutions to meet this goal for our customers.
