D!ng is a social networking app that allows users to quickly share a centralized set of their contact information with people they meet. Users create profiles that display links to their social media accounts, notes on the best ways to contact them, and other information, all in one place. 🎓 Alumni startup: Vantage Sports
Vantage Sports is a marketplace that will connect college athletes with paid opportunities to coach and mentor younger athletes under the pending changes to the NCAA's amateurism policy. The company currently has 63 NCAA athletes at 14 universities on the waiting list. The Vantage Sports app will make it easy to find and book college athletes as private coaches. The company will launch in Florida this summer. https://www.vantagesports.com/

🚌 Student: Katie Fox
Katie is from Needham, MA and is studying Information Systems, Entrepreneurship, and English. She's a member of BC’s Women Innovators Network and Women in Business organizations, and will be the president of the Boston College Irish Dance Team next year as well as a Portico TA. This year, Katie was an Ignite VC Fellow for Glasswing Ventures, and last summer, she worked as the Program Manager for SSC Venture Partners (a venture fund, startup accelerator, and mentor network for BC startups). Previously, Katie has held various on-campus roles at BC's Center for Corporate Citizenship, BC Event Management, and CSOM. This summer, she will be interning at Accenture in their Corporate division.

🎓 Alum: Muhan Zhang
Muhan is the founder and editor at Startup Investing for All (publishing startup deal memos read by thousands of readers monthly) and a podcast host at First Money In (a podcast for knowledge seekers and risk takers). Previously, he worked for three years as the COO at Yang2020, where he oversaw all operational aspects of Andrew Yang’s presidential campaign. Muhan has also worked in growth, software engineering, and communications roles at Open English, Kairos.com, and the U.S. Department of State.

Wunderite, a startup for automating insurance applications founded by BC alumn Peter MacDonald, recently raised a $3M seed round led by Spark Capital (co-founded by BC alum Bijan Sabet). Read more about the raise here.
